No Baby Blisters has launched a donation campaign showing how individual contributions translate into direct medical care for children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Through the program, a $30 donation provides 12 full days of pain medication, while $100 covers 20 days of specialized non-adhesive bandages. The initiative aims to ease the medical and financial burden on families, with annual EB care costs estimated between $110,000 and $160,000.

The campaign focuses on medically neglected children in regions where free healthcare is unavailable. EB is a rare, genetic, and currently incurable condition that makes the skin extremely fragile. Children with EB can have up to 80% of their skin missing, leading to chronic infections and severe pain. Without consistent access to specialized bandages, pain relief, and antibiotics, these children face life-threatening complications, including sepsis.
No Baby Blisters holds a Platinum Transparency Rating from GuideStar, the highest level available for nonprofit organizations. The charity’s work has been referenced in peer-reviewed medical literature, including publications through the National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine, supporting the effectiveness of direct medical interventions for children with EB.
The campaign’s Hero Guardian Angel program encourages monthly recurring donations to maintain a steady flow of medical supplies. At the $250 level, contributions fund critical interventions such as surgeries and chemotherapy for the most severely affected children. The $500 tier provides 60 days of a comprehensive care package, including pain medicine, specialized bandages, and wound-healing nutritional meals.
“Our EB and medically neglected babies depend on donors for pain medicines and life-saving bandages,” said a spokesperson for the charity. “A monthly or one-time gift helps children and their families access surgeries, bandages, and pain medicines that would otherwise be out of reach.”
Recent cases highlight the direct impact of donor support. Baby John recently avoided a potential leg amputation after receiving donor-funded specialized ointments and bandages to treat a life-threatening wound. Other children, including Baby Jesús and Baby Joyce, have received emergency hospitalizations for infected wounds and immediate antibiotic treatments through contributions to the program.
No Baby Blisters is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible. The organization states that it is the only charity in the world providing direct medical supplies and support specifically to children with EB and their families.
