MIAMI, FL — November 9, 2026 — XPR Media LLC today announced the launch of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, which connects the XPR CMS to leading AI assistants that support the open protocol. PR, SEO and marketing agencies can now use XPR’s story formats, content guidelines and publishing catalog from inside the AI applications they already work in, which shortens the path from first draft to publication on the XPR Network. Agencies that connect their accounts keep their existing XPR permissions.
The launch is the first stage of XPR’s broader AI rollout. Compass, XPR’s AI agency support tool, is scheduled to launch later in November.
Built for how agencies already work
Many agencies now use AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT every day for planning, research and drafting. Until now, working to a publishing platform’s requirements in those tools meant pasting guidelines into prompts or switching back and forth between applications. XPR’s MCP integration removes that step. An AI assistant connected to XPR can look up the requirements for a specific story format, review examples, and search the XPR publishing catalog while the draft is being written.
As a result, drafts start closer to XPR’s standards. The format rules for press releases, guest posts, listicles and other story types are available to the assistant during writing, not checked only after the draft is done.
AI drafts, the CMS checks, people approve
The integration feeds into a review process XPR already runs. Every submission to the XPR CMS goes through automated AI checks: content filters and an AI score measured against XPR’s published content guidelines. Submissions that clear those checks move forward without manual filter review. Items the system holds go to a person for review. Publisher review also applies when an individual site requires it.
XPR’s content guidelines, version 1.0, are published for agencies at cms.xpr.media/docs. They are the shared standard for both the AI score and the drafting guidance available through MCP. Because every stage uses the same guidelines, agencies working through an AI assistant are held to the same standard as agencies working directly in the CMS.
“Agencies have already brought AI into their content work, and they want the platforms they rely on to meet them there,” said Pablo Goldstein, CEO of XPR Media LLC. “With MCP, XPR’s formats and guidelines are available inside the AI tools agencies use every day. AI helps draft, the CMS checks the work against published guidelines, and people make the approval decisions. That combination lets agencies move faster, and it gets them one step closer to a perfect draft on the first try, without lowering the bar.”
Permissions carried through
A connected AI assistant can see and do only what the agency user can already see and do in the XPR CMS, including campaign access and approver roles. Agencies can adopt AI-assisted workflows without opening a separate, less controlled way into their publishing account.
Compass next
Compass launches later this month and will extend XPR’s AI rollout with more support for agencies planning and preparing content for the XPR Network. XPR will share further details at launch.
Agencies can register for an XPR account at https://cms.xpr.media/register?type=PROVIDER. XPR’s content guidelines are available at cms.xpr.media/docs.
